TeleHealth End Dates
The APTA is closely monitoring payer policy activity related to telehealth as it relates to permanent changes that will extend beyond the Pandemic Health Emergency (PHE.) Many Telehealth and E-Visit options will cease at the end of the PHE. As of today, the end date is July 24, 2020, however some payers have posted earlier end dates and some have extended beyond the PHE date. Double check with each of your payers to confirm their telehealth end dates. Additionally, contact your state physical, occupational and speech therapy associations to advocate continuing to offer Telehealth to your patients.
